I’m so happy that Spring is finally here. It has been a long, wet winter here in the Pacific Northwest. We had a sunny weekend after weeks of rain. I was strolling around Capitol Hill yesterday to take advantage of the elusive sun. If you’re an Instagram addict like me, you scroll through your feed compulsively. Then you suddenly see something unbelievable, like it’s too good to be true.

Sugar Plum Sweet Shop had an Instagram post featuring this beautiful vegan dessert with the password to win it. So, I went in and said it–And I won this delicious berry sundae that happens to match my magenta hair. It was so good. Thanks, Sugar Plum!

Anyway. During my lunch break, I usually get out of the office and take a stroll through downtown, encountering many smiling faces. This flower vendor, I’m guessing from Pike Place Market, was handing out daffodils today to passers by. I don’t say no to flowers.

I leave for Iceland tomorrow.
